Testosterone therapy

We will alleviate the impacts of andropause on your physical and mental health

What is modern andrology?

As men age, testosterone levels can decline, affecting both physical and mental well-being. This condition is known as “aging male syndrome” or andropause. Testosterone plays a crucial role in the male body – it affects not only sexual and physical health, but also mental well-being, self-confidence and the ability to face everyday challenges. A deficiency in this hormone can have profound consequences for the quality of life.

The main symptoms of testosterone deficiency include:

  • Decreased sexual desire: loss of libido is one of the first and most prominent symptoms.

  • Erectile dysfunction: problems getting or maintaining an erection.

  • Muscle weakness: loss of muscle mass, increased fatigue after physical activity, and problems maintaining physical strength.

  • Fatigue and lack of energy: a feeling of exhaustion that does not match the amount of activity.

  • Mood swings: frequent irritability, decreased self-esteem and general dissatisfaction.

Reduced testosterone levels: How do you know the problem?

Not sure if this issue applies to you? The simple ADAM* questionnaire will help you find out if your testosterone levels are optimal.

The *ADAM questionnaire is an internationally validated assessment tool for the evaluation and diagnosis of testosterone deficiency for men over the age of 40.

TRAVERSE 2023 study

In 2023, the large TRAVERSE* study provided crucial evidence on the safety and benefits of testosterone therapy (TTh) in more than 5,000 men with low testosterone levels and increased cardiovascular risk.

The TRAVERSE study confirmed cardiovascular safety and highlighted significant metabolic and qualitative benefits of this treatment, opening up new possibilities for the care of middle-aged and older men with hormonal imbalance.

This study further demonstrated significant medically proven health benefits of testosterone therapy, in particular:

Reducing the risk of diabetes

Improving glycemic control

Improving the overall metabolic profile
